Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reveals the ‘plan’ to ‘annoy’ Manchester City

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has suggested that he is optimistic about offering stiff competition to Manchester City despite the difficulties that lie ahead.

Manchester City dropped points in the previous matchday following their 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace. Pep Guardiola’s team couldn’t break the deadlock on the night, resulting in them ceding ground in the Premier League title race.

Even though the consequences weren’t humongous, it allows Liverpool to come within breathing distance of Man City should they win their game in hand. The Reds currently trail their rivals by four points, having played a game less.

In his recent interview, Jurgen Klopp suggested that his team’s approach is very optimistic about the title race, and they are even planning to make things difficult for Manchester City.

“That’s the plan (to push City). The plan is to be as annoying as possible. We have to win our games. You know that, but we are very ambitious and determined to do great stuff. Ten games to play a few REALLY tough ones. They are all tough.”

Curiously, Liverpool have their destiny in their own hands. The Reds can win the league should they win all of their games from now until the end of the league campaign. It is easier said than done.
