Liverpool fans reminded Thiago Alcantara for Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker
Thiago Alcantara executed one of the filthiest elastico skill move that football has ever seen when Bayern Munich took the field against Borussia Dortmund in 2015, and Liverpool fans can’t stop talking about it.
The Brazilian-born Spaniard is one of the most technically gifted footballers to have ever graced the football pitch. Just because he isn’t banging in goals, his name doesn’t get the respect it deserves.
MUNDIAL on Twitter reposted a video from Bayern Munich’s official Twitter handle where Thiago is seen doing an elastico to weave his way out of a tight area. Jakub Błaszczykowski and Erik Durm were the men left to eat dust by ‘El Mago‘.
To do this with the ball coming to your feet rather than it being stationary takes a crazy amount of skill. To execute it this smoothly- only a few players in the world can do it like that!
Thiago joined the Reds back in 2020 after winning everything under the sun during his time with FC Barcelona and the Bavarians. Perhaps, the challenge of the Premier League enticed him.
He has taken his winning habit to Anfield as well, having won the EFL Cup and the FA Cup last season. There is no doubt that his eyes will be firmly set on winning the league title and the UCL in the next campaign.
There is nothing that Thiago can’t do on the ball. His technique when it comes to passing and dribbling is simply magical.
To top it off, he is one of the best midfielders in England when it comes to putting in a shift off the ball. Jumping, heading, throwing himself into tackles- he can do it all.

They would certainly love to have this bit of showboating at Anfield next season. Here is how our fans reacted on Twitter after seeing that video:
