Loan Watch: Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley scores the winner for Bolton

Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley has continued his fine start with Bolton Wanderers by scoring a superb debut goal for the League One outfit.

Proving true to his Liverpool roots, his goal came up against Salford city, which comes under the ownership of former Manchester United player Gary Neville.

The young back was put into action with 15 minutes to spare in the game and it took him less than 120 seconds to fire home a spectacular 25-yard long-range shot to fire home the winner for his team.

That result takes Bolton up to fourth in the table, where they are still unbeaten in League One this season with two wins and two draws so far. Bradley has already featured in five games this season and has two goals and two assists in competitions for the Trotters.

The 19-year-old full-back has impressed with his performances in the Liverpool academy and has a lot of expectations coming into his move away from the club.

Bradley is quite sure of his development path and believes that his loan move to Bolton for the upcoming season is exactly what he needs to develop his game further.

According to Manchester Evening News, Bradley believes that the style of play at Bolton is similar to that of Liverpool and the loan move will help him to come back stronger to Anfield next season and fight for a place with Trent Alexander Arnold for the right-back position. He said back in July:

“It was a massive decision. Obviously, it is not going to be easy, moving away from Liverpool and coming to Bolton. 

I still want to try to rival Trent (in the long term). I know it is going to be difficult because he is unbelievable. But I just want to keep working hard, keep doing what I am doing and hopefully good things will come.”

Conor Bradley has already made his first team debut with five appearances under his belt. A loan move can become a real success if a young player can get good minutes under his belt.
