Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk discovers his FIFA 23 ultimate team ratings

EA Sports have very recently released the player ratings for their new game FIFA 23. Since Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk is an ambassador of the game, his ratings along with a few of his colleagues have been released earlier than others.

The Dutchman fetched a rating of 90 in this edition of the game. Last season though, EA Sports rated him 89. And understandably so, since he had just come back from nursing a long-term injury.

The 30-year-old played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s successful campaign last season and deserves the upgrade. Other Liverpool players whose ratings were revealed were Mohamed Salah (90) and Alisson (89)

Being one of the best players on the pitch for the Reds last season, Virgil stood head and shoulders above his fellow centre-backs. Kopites wouldn’t have had it any other way than his card not being either 90 or more than that.

Van Dijk’s six major stats have seen an upgrade, especially his pace, which has crossed the 80 barrier. His defence stat though has remained the same as it was, 91.

Other Player Ratings

Among the other Premier League players, only Kevin de Bruyne (91) has fetched an overall rating of more than Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. Cristiano Ronaldo, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane are among other stars from the same league who have a rating of 89 and more.

FIFA 23 releases on September 30th and as is the case every year, the game is set to be sold in large volumes. The new ratings will make it fun to play the online version of the game, FUT.
