Jurgen Klopp wants to bring Serbia and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing Serbia and Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t Liverpool Echo).
The German head coach is desperate to land the signature of the 22-year-old. He is ‘willing to do anything’ to bring the forward to Merseyside. The former Borussia Dortmund manager has had an eye on the striker for a while now.
Klopp could consider adding more firepower to the Reds squad amidst Darwin Nunez’s struggles. The Uruguayan only recently signed for the club in the recent transfer window. However, he is yet to find his feet in England.
Liverpool are surprisingly willing to offer Ibrahima Konate as part of an exchange deal. The 23-year-old has been solid for the Reds ever since his arrival from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021.
Vlahovic signed for the Bianconeri in this year’s January transfer window from Fiorentina. The Serbian has been thriving in Serie A since the 2020/21 campaign. In Turin, the forward has made 36 appearances for Juventus, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists.
While the 22-year-old has been decent, there have been fixed feelings from fans of the Old Lady towards his performances. The striker has been unable to take the entire fanbase into confidence.
Serbia crashed out of the World Cup group stages after losing 3-2 to Switzerland on Friday (2 November) in their final group stage match. The Eagles lost their first fixture against Brazil and only managed a draw against Cameroon.
Apart from Nunez, Liverpool’s forward line boasts of Mohamed Salah, who recently signed a new contract. The Egyptian has been our talisman for years. Other options at Klopp’s disposal are Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino.

While the Uruguayan has not taken the English top flight by storm yet, it is unrealistic to expect him to make a mark immediately. The Reds have the former Benfica striker and do not need to bring Vlahovic to the club.
