Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has seen himself linked to the German FA Coach job ever since Hansi Flick’s side saw themselves out of the Group Stage of the FIFA World Cup. Die Mannschaft believe that Thomas Tuchel cannot fit the job description, and have not seen beyond Klopp.

Liverpool Echo report that German FA president Bernd Neuendorf believes that nobody suits the job better than Klopp and Tuchel would be his second choice as the German manager.

However, Liverpool fans would be reluctant to let go of the person that has brought them so much success in recent years. Moreover, the Liverpool gaffer’s agent came out with a statement that the German international will fulfil his contract in Merseyside.

Neuendorf is willing to wait however long it takes to land Klopp. The German board’s persuasiveness to sign the Reds’ manager could possibly change the former Borussia Dortmund manager’s stance on his contract.

), and the fans would hope to see the gaffer at least fulfil his present contract at the club. Beyond that period is a different question, but given the recent success he has brought to the club, the fans would not want the gaffer to leave abruptly.
