According to Fabrizio Romano (h/t Liverpool Echo), Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of teen sensation Endrick from Palmeiras, who was previously linked with Liverpool.

Liverpool were also linked with the wonderkid, who has already made his first team debut at such a young age and looks destined for great things.

Targeting players like Endrick is part of the club’s change of transfer which has seen an innate pattern of investing in youth with huge potential and subsequently developing them at the club.

With the noise coming out of Brazil for Endrick, it was imperative that many top clubs, Liverpool being one of them, would try to add the youngster to their squad.

Madrid have won the race for the Brazil teenager but this should not stop us from targeting talented young players who can, in future, lead the line for Liverpool.

Harvey Elliot, Fabio Carvalho, Sepp van den Berg and Calvin Ramsey are just some of the names which have been added to the squad to achieve such a purpose.

Elliot and Carvalho especially played a big part in the first half of the season for us and were very able deputies during a time which saw us lose out many key players due to injuries.
