Transfer News: Real Madrid have new strategy to pursue Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham

Spanish and European giants Real Madrid are pitching themselves to be the ‘best place for young talents in Europe’ to land Liverpool transfer target and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to the Independent.

The European champions have lately become increasingly confident that they can secure the signature of one of the hottest young prospects on the continent in the summer. The England international is expected to leave his current side after this season, with his current price tag being a whopping £130 million.

Real have been building a squad filled with some of the best young talents and have pointed to the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde as the footsteps for Bellingham to follow.

They have also pointed at how they can still win the Champions League despite undergoing a rebuild to entice the 19-year-old to choose them over other top clubs like the Reds, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp is in a very dire situation to revamp his midfield. The current midfielders are either old and past their primes or have been struggling to stay fit for the course of the season. Such problems have cost us dearly and we are effectively out of the title race this season.

Bellingham, who is just 19, would make an instant upgrade to almost any club he joins. The midfielder has seen his stock rise every year since moving to Germany in 2020 and also was one of the best players for the Three Lions at the World Cup in Qatar last month.

However, signing him would be neither easy nor cheap. Even if the Reds would strike a deal with the German side, it could require some dedication to pursue the youngster to be part of our midfield, over joining a side that is almost done with securing their future team for years to come.
