Borussia Dortmund are yet to receive offers for Liverpool target Jude Bellingham
Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are yet to receive offers for Jude Bellingham who continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool and Real Madrid. The 19-year-old Englishman is the Reds’ primary transfer target and there is an actual need to reinforce the midfield at Liverpool.
The latest report by German outlet Kicker [h/t Liverpool Echo] discusses how the Bundesliga giants are yet to receive a bid for their star man from either Madrid or Liverpool. Given the market dynamics, and the skill level of the player, his value could go up and it is probably the right time to negotiate a cut-price deal with Die Schwarzbelgen now than ever.
Liverpool’s poor form this season could stand attributed to the poor form of a number of midfielders including the likes of Jordan Henderson and even Fabinho. More than the results, the fact that the Reds are losing these games without giving in a proper fight makes one wonder about the future of the squad.
Liverpool need to bid soon for Jude
At merely 19 years of age, the player is already world-class and is a long-term prospect at the same time which is precisely what the Reds need at this point in time. With the present set of players, it is almost like the club is operating on shoestrings.
Add to that the reluctant nature of the owners to invest money into the club, it seems like the current midfielders have reached a point of diminishing returns under Jurgen Klopp and he certainly needs new players, who better than Bellingham?
It is high time the Reds negotiate a deal with Dortmund for the player before either Real Madrid enter the fray for the player. We cannot afford to lose another one of our transfer targets to the Spanish giants as not having Aurelien Tchouameni on board is still something the Reds have lacked throughout.
