Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Chelsea superstar Mason Mount

According to the Guardian, Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Chelsea superstar Mason Mount and could make a move for him in the summer.

The English international is a Chelsea boy throughout, Mount’s contract situation at Stamford Bridge is a bit complicated. The talented midfielder is yet to agree to a new long-term deal and the Reds are said to be monitoring this.

Mount is in the last 18 months of his contract at the Bridge. His talent as a player is absolutely unbelievable. The English international is a joy to watch when in full flow and can control a game completely.

Liverpool are putting plans to try and convince the midfielder to come to Anfield if his talks with Chelsea break down. Mount would be the dream signing for Jurgen Klopp as he can be the answer to all their midfield woes.

Mount though is a Cobham graduate who has his heart in Chelsea. He might eventually reach an agreement with the Blues and end up staying there. However, we can always be prepared in case of an eventuality.

The 24-year-old is prodigiously talented and has at least a decade left at the top of the game. He can be the player Jurgen Klopp builds his Liverpool revolution around, it remains to be seen how it goes.

That the Reds are looking for reinforcements in midfield comes as absolutely no surprise. It is an area that has really haunted them in recent times and let’s see if Liverpool are able to convince Mount.

There are also other options in midfield that the Reds and Klopp will be looking for. It remains to be seen if Liverpool go all out in their attempt to sign Mount. In him, we would be getting a player with proven Premier League pedigree.
