Eintracht Frankfurt expect Liverpool to make an offer for Randal Kolo Muani
Eintracht Frankfurt, the German football club, is reportedly expecting Liverpool to make an offer for their 24-year-old striker Randal Kolo Muani. The French forward has certainly been in impressive form for the club, attracting the attention of several top European clubs.
Muani joined Eintracht Frankfurt from FC Nantes in the summer of 2022 and has certainly made an immediate impact with his performances on the pitch. He has scored 14 goals and as many assists in 29 appearances across all competitions for the club. Muani’s versatility and ability to play as a centre-forward or on the wings have certainly made him an attractive proposition for several top clubs.
According to Sport Bild (h/t Liverpool Echo), the German club are “expecting” Liverpool to make an offer to sign the 24-year-old in the summer. However, realistically speaking, the Reds do not need the addition of another forward, unless Roberto Firmino, whose contract expires later this year decides to move on which is highly unlikely.
Moreover, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also show interest in signing the player apart from the Reds. It is almost like every Liverpool transfer target is automatically on the radar for Los Blancos.
Kolo Muani to the Reds?
Frankfurt has reportedly set a price tag of around £89m for the striker, which is well over Liverpool’s budget. The Reds also have midfield star, Jude Bellingham on their transfer radar which makes things much more difficult for the management to handle given none of their ideal transfer targets would come cheap.
Muani has been described as a player with immense potential and has already been compared to some of the best forwards in the world. His speed, dribbling skills, and finishing ability make him a lethal striker, and he has already shown glimpses of his talent in his short time at Eintracht Frankfurt.
