Liverpool told price to sign Napoli superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Liverpool stand linked with a move for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the highly-talented winger who currently plies his trade at Napoli. The Georgian international has certainly been in exceptional form this season, attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including the Reds.
The 22-year-old has 12 goals and 14 assists this season across all competitions in 24 appearances. According to Fichajes (h/t Liverpool Echo), the player would cost the Reds upwards of £100m.
Kvaratskhelia is undoubtedly an excellent player, possessing incredible dribbling skills, speed, and the ability to create scoring opportunities. He has been a key figure for Napoli this season, scoring important goals and providing numerous assists for his teammates. However, as much as Liverpool admire the player’s abilities, signing him for upwards of £100m would not be a wise move for the club at this time.
Liverpool currently have a plethora of attacking options, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and also Cody Gakpo already providing a formidable frontline for the team.
Khvicha to the Reds?
While Kvaratskhelia would no doubt add to Liverpool’s attacking prowess, the club’s priority at the moment should be to strengthen other areas of the squad. The Reds have been hit hard by injuries to key players in recent weeks, particularly in midfield, and it would be wise for the club to invest in that area rather than add yet another forward.
Moreover, plenty of midfielders currently at the club see out their contracts in the summer and any money channelled towards bringing on a midfielder would be ideal. We have Jude Bellingham on our transfer radar as well, and putting in the money we have to sign the 18-year-old from Dortmund will be best for the club.

The Reds already have a stacked attack and should focus on strengthening other areas of the squad, while also giving their young players in those positions like Fabio Carvalho more opportunities to develop.
