Mohamed Salah is Liverpool FC’s highest-scoring player in the Premier League
On the evening of 6th March 2023, Anfield witnessed history as Mohamed Salah became Liverpool FC’s all-time leading scorer in the Premier League, surpassing Robbie Fowler’s record of 128 goals. The Egyptian forward achieved the feat in style, scoring two goals in Liverpool’s resounding 7-0 victory over their arch-rivals, Manchester United.
Salah had been in sensational form leading up to the fixture against United, having three goal contributions in his previous four league matches. Liverpool had been struggling to find consistency in the league, but the team’s talisman had been the one shining light amidst the gloom.
