Liverpool sign four-year contract extension to retain Expedia as the club’s sleeve sponsors
Liverpool Football Club has secured another boost to their financial fortunes with the extension of their sleeve sponsorship deal with online travel firm Expedia. The partnership between Liverpool and Expedia began in 2020, when the two companies agreed to a three-year deal worth £10m per year, replacing Western Union as the club’s sleeve partner.
Earlier this week, Liverpool announced that they had agreed to extend the deal with Expedia for a further four years. This move is part of Liverpool’s commercial strategy of retaining sponsors and generating an increase in value with each new deal cycle.
The club achieved this goal last year with the extension of their main shirt sponsorship deal with financial firm Standard Chartered.
While the financial terms of the new deal with Expedia have not been officially disclosed, reports suggest that the value of the new deal is significantly higher than the previous agreement.

While the previous three-year deal was worth a total of £30m to Liverpool, the current deal could be worth almost double that amount due to the increase in value and the additional year on the new contract.
The extension of the Expedia deal is also a testament to Liverpool’s strong commercial performance in recent years. The club has been successful in attracting and retaining a range of high-profile sponsors, including Standard Chartered, Nike, AXA, and Carlsberg, among others.
These partnerships have helped to generate significant revenue for the club and have contributed to its continued success both on and off the pitch.
Overall, the extension of the Expedia deal is a positive development for Liverpool and its fans. The increased financial stability provided by the deal will allow the club to continue to invest in its playing squad and facilities as well.
