Wolves are resigned to losing £50million-rated Liverpool-linked Ruben Neves this summer

According to the Mirror, Wolverhampton Wanderers have resigned to the fact it is highly unlikely for Ruben Neves to stay at the club beyond this summer.

Many clubs have been linked with a move for the talented Portuguese midfielder. Neves has proven to be one of the very best in the Premier League, especially this season and he is not far away from a big move.

Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United have all been linked with a move for the player. Considering the kind of clubs on the list, it is evident how much quality the player possesses.

If Wolves have decided to sell him in the summer, there is absolutely no doubt that he will attract a lot of interest. However, Neves will definitely not come cheap for any club that wants to sign him.

Orchestrator?

Liverpool would definitely benefit from a player like Ruben Neves. The Portuguese midfielder is generally world-class and he can add a lot of control and quality to the base of Liverpool’s midfield.

Neves can play as a 6 or an 8 and he can encompass both roles with equal ease. The 26-year-old is the kind of player who can give a bit of breathing space to Thiago Alcantara and let the Spaniard thrive as well.

Let’s not forget what a wonderful long-shot Ruben Neves has. There is a conspiracy that the Portuguese midfielder never scores a goal from inside the box and that is just praised for how good his long shots get.

However, with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid also in the race, it will not be easy for Liverpool. The Spanish giants have a pull when it comes to signing players like no other club does.
