Real Madrid make it easy for Liverpool to sign Jude Bellingham
Liverpool Football Club’s summer transfer plans get a huge boost as Real Madrid could potentially clear the path for the Reds to sign their primary transfer target Jude Bellingham. With the Spanish giants out of the fray, the Merseysiders can take comfort in that context.
According to Marca via ECHO Real Madrid are set to forego any significant acquisitions during the upcoming summer transfer window, effectively dismissing the possibility of pursuing the 19-year-old Englishman for whom Dortmund will ask for upwards of £100m.
However, Manchester City are still in the race for the player, and even though the Reds are possibly the frontrunners, City are much more financially sound and Liverpool cannot take any lapses in their pursuit of Bellingham.
With players like Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and of course, Federico Valverde, the requirement for a central midfielder at Real Madrid is not as desperate as it is in the case of Liverpool.
Bellingham boost for Liverpool
The likes of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will leave the club in the summer. Curtis Jones is still making his way and is yet to cement himself in the first team as is the case for Fabio Carvalho. James Milner is 37, Jordan Henderson is 32, Thiago is 31 and Fabinho is 29 and we need long-term replacements for all of these players.
There is no better option in the market than Jude Bellingham and the Reds should just pounce on any minute chance available to get the former Birmingham City man on board. His presence on the ball and the balance of attacking prowess alongside defensive stability is just what Liverpool need at the moment.
In 34 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund this season, Bellingham has scored 10 goals in addition to his six assists as well. He has only played in central midfield roles this campaign, but there is no denying his versatility.
The player has captained Die Schwarzgelben across multiple matches in the league as well as the UEFA Champions League and would make a strong captaincy candidate in the future as well. One thing is for sure, Bellingham is destined for an illustrious career and hopefully, he achieves that with Liverpool.

Even though from the surface, it seems that the Reds have a clear path in front of them, it is extremely crucial that Liverpool do not take things lightly as the financial aspects of the deal do not get any easier to handle and Bellingham is still going to cost them a bomb.
