Liverpool are interested in signing Ryan Gravenberch in the summer
According to Sport1 (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is interested in bringing Ryan Gravenberch to Anfield in the coming summer window.
Gravenberch, who was one of the best young midfielders in Europe while playing for Ajax last season, has had a tough time since moving to Bayern Munich last summer.
The Dutch international has played only played 684 minutes of football in all competitions for the German giants this season. There has been a change of manager there with Thomas Tuchel replacing Julian Nagelsmann.
It remains to be seen whether the former Chelsea manager will use the midfielder more than Nagelsmann used to do.
Gravenberch is a high-quality player who can operate in multiple midfield positions. He is a tall player who is technically sound and has the physical strength to compete against anyone in the midfield.
The 20-year-old has all the attributes needed to become a fantastic player for Liverpool, whose midfield needs a lot of work in the summer window.
The former Ajax player can either play as a lone defensive midfielder under Klopp or operate as one of the number eights.
It is no secret that Liverpool will be aiming to sign multiple midfielders in the summer. Jude Bellingham is the primary target but only one addition won’t do much.
If his game time continues to stay restricted even under Tuchel, it might be time for Gravenberch to look for a move in the summer.

His game would suit the way Liverpool play under Klopp. If available, the Reds should be all over this and sign the 20-year-old before anyone else does. As a Reds supporter, we hope that his game time remains low at Bayern till the summer. That is one way to lure him away from Munich.
