Mohamed Salah agent denies Liverpool star meeting with PSG owner
The transfer news update that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah met PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi in Morocco created quite a buzz. It was speculated that the Ligue 1 outfit view Mo as a replacement for outgoing star Lionel Messi, who confirmed his move to the MLS side Inter Miami.
However, in what comes a big sigh of relief to Liverpool and the fans, Mo’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa denied the speculation and put out a tweet saying Salah in fact, did not meet the PSG owner, rubbishing any rumours of a potential exit from the Reds. His reply to the original tweet read:
“No, he did not. That’s the short story.”
Mo’s current contract at the club lasts until 2025 (Transfermarkt) and there is surely no way fans can imagine a Liverpool squad without him in the foreseeable future. The Egyptian King has, without a doubt, been the best signing under Jurgen Klopp and is consistently putting up big numbers.
In this season alone, in 51 appearances across all competitions, he has 30 goals and 16 assists. The mere mention of Salah potentially leaving Liverpool can send shockwaves through the fanbase, but Issa’s swift response has effectively put an end to the speculation.

His blistering pace, clinical finishing, and ability to create scoring opportunities make him one of the most formidable attackers in the game and is probably the best winger in the PL era.
