Ryan Gravenberch would be “all over a move to Liverpool” according to David Lynch
Among the plenty of midfielders who see themselves linked with a move to Liverpool, the case of Ryan Gravenberch is different to that of others. Joining Bayern Munich amid a lot of hype following his performances at Ajax, the Dutchman has struggled for minutes at Bavaria.
The Reds are in dire straits when it comes to the midfield situation, and according to Football Insider’s David Lynch, Gravenberch would love to explore the opportunity of moving to Liverpool. Here is what Lynch told Transfer Insight exclusively:
“I think it would get to the stage if Bayern told him he wasn’t going to be playing a significant role next season then I think he would be all over a move to Liverpool. He is fully aware that they like him and have got an obvious role for him as well.”
“It is just one you have to keep an eye on and see how it plays out. Hopefully, that conversation happens sooner rather than later and Liverpool can get a resolution on that.”
This puts Liverpool back into the race for the player, as they were before his move to Bayern as well. In case his struggle for minutes continues and manager Thomas Tuchel is unable to convince him to stay, he could surely be on his way out of Allianz Arena.
His wide passing range and ability to control the tempo of the game would surely help the Reds’ cause. Consistently among the top talents of Europe during his time at Ajax, it is surely sad to see him struggle for minutes at Bayern.
Another Dutchman at the Reds?
It is not even the case of the player underperforming. Thomas Tuchel is also spoilt for choice, and there is very little that either party can do in this situation. Hopefully, the solution they find is letting the player go to Liverpool.
While Gravenberch’s difficult season at Bayern may raise questions about his readiness for a move to Liverpool, it’s important to remember that talented players often face challenges and setbacks in their careers.
The discussions with Tuchel will likely provide clarity on his immediate future, but the allure of joining a club like Liverpool, under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, could be an enticing prospect for the young midfielder.
Liverpool’s midfield has been an area of concern, with the need for fresh talent and depth to compete at the highest level.

Gravenberch’s potential arrival would inject energy and creativity into the squad, providing competition for places and raising the overall quality of the midfield options. He is currently on national duty alongside Liverpool regulars Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo. Hopefully, those two try their hand in luring the former Ajax man to the Reds.
