Liverpool tracking PSG superstar Marco Verratti
Liverpool FC’s summer transfer plans continue to make headlines as they enter the race to sign 30-year-old Marco Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain.

Verratti‘s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has been actively exploring options for the midfielder, who has spent an impressive 11 years with PSG. With the club seemingly open to selling any player this transfer window, the Italian star is considering his future amidst the winds of change at the Parc des Princes.
Despite recently signing a contract extension until 2026 (Transfermarkt), Verratti appears open to the prospect of leaving the French capital for a new challenge. His impressive skill set and experience have caught the attention of two unnamed clubs as mentioned earlier, and Liverpool, under Jurgen Klopp’s management, seems eager to secure his signature.
Verratti to the Reds?
Amidst Liverpool’s interest in Verratti, they will face stiff competition from Atletico Madrid, who are also actively in contact with PSG over the midfielder’s potential move.
The battle for the Italian’s services adds an extra layer of excitement to the summer transfer window, with both clubs eager to bolster their midfield options.
