Liverpool could sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise for £35m
It is no secret that Liverpool need a successor on the right wing for Mohamed Salah. While we may have a number of targets on our radar, an interesting player in Michael Olise is an interesting shout to take over the baton from Mo in the coming years. The 21-year-old France U21 star was previously a Liverpool target, and the Reds could still get him on board.
Fabrizio Romano [h/t liverpool.com] tells that Olise has a release clause worth £35m in his contract with Crystal Palace. Jurgen Klopp mentioned in a press conference that the Reds scouted Olise back in the 2021/22 season.
Manchester City and Chelsea have also shown interest in the promising youngster, but Liverpool should seriously consider hijacking the move. Olise possesses immense talent and potential, and his ability to adapt to different playing styles is a significant advantage for the Reds.
At Anfield, Mohamed Salah has been a key figure in Liverpool’s attacking setup, consistently delivering remarkable performances. However, Olise could be the ideal successor to the Egyptian superstar, offering a different playing style that complements the team’s approach.
Olise would be a wise investment for the Reds
Despite being young, Olise has demonstrated maturity and skill beyond his years. His technical ability, vision, and creativity make him a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s system, which heavily relies on fluid attacking play and intricate build-up from midfield.
Liverpool’s history of nurturing young talent and providing a platform for players to shine could be a compelling factor in attracting Olise to Anfield. Under Klopp’s guidance, many young players have flourished and evolved into crucial members of the squad.
Last season in the Premier League, Olise scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 37 appearances. Securing Olise’s signature could be a wise investment for Liverpool’s future. As a club known for building strong teams for the long term, acquiring young talents with exceptional potential is surely a key part of Liverpool.
