Dimitar Berbatov does not include Liverpool in his top-four prediction
Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has shared his perspective on Liverpool FC’s chances in the upcoming Premier League season, and it’s not positive.

“The competition for the top four is the reason why the Premier League is so great to watch. Teams like Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton and Tottenham can compete for it. Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea will be in the top four.”
“If Manchester United don’t make the top four, then it’s a terrible season. I think Arsenal will get the top four too, they need to push for the title and not settle for second place as they did last season. I’m not including Liverpool, Tottenham or Newcastle.”
Berbatov’s opinion adds an interesting layer to the already competitive nature of the Premier League. He believes that the race for the top four is what makes the league thrilling, with surprise contenders like Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton, and Tottenham [lol] vying for those coveted spots. Notably, he doesn’t include Liverpool in his list of top-four contenders. The thing is, we shouldn’t be a team that sees the top four as a trophy. Maybe we did for a huge chunk of time in 2010s, but that was a depressing era in this club’s glorious history. The aim should be to win things.
