Wolverhampton allegedly had a bid for the Brazilian teenager rejected last window before signing Uruguay’s Santiago Bueno. The young Brazilian Beraldo has earned 38 caps for Sao Paulo this season, including a Copa do Brasil final victory over Flamengo.
Beraldo comes as a golden opportunity for the Reds. Their star defender and skipper Van Dijk is 32 years old and will soon enter decline. Signing the 19-year-old would allow Liverpool to develop the talented bud into a world-class talent.
