Liverpool icon Kenny Dalglish talks about the Reds’ rising star Ben Doak
Ben Doak has already made a name for himself at Liverpool Football Club. The player has shown a lot of promise and at only 17, he is still very young and there’s a long way to go.
The former Celtic winger, since joining the club in March 2022 has gone from stride to stride and has featured in the Europa League for the Reds as well.
Doak has so many players to look up to when he sees around in the dressing room, including the captain of his national side, Andy Robertson. While Doak has still not played for the senior national team, he would see Robbo as someone whose lead he could follow.

“He’s done really well in just a year-and-a-half. He’ll not be far away from it [Scotland]. He was on the bench at Brighton [last weekend] and he came on in the Europa League. If he just handles it properly, he’s got a lot of things going for him. He’s got more going for him than going against him.”

Doak has eight appearances for the senior team so far. In 27 appearances for the age-group squads, Doak has 11 goals and eight assists across all competitions.
