Liverpool target and Borussia Dortmund star actively seeking January loan transfer

Liverpool target Youssoufa Moukoko actively seeking loan exit from Dortmund

The presence of Sebastian Haller and Niclas Fullkrug has made it tough for 18-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko to earn minutes at Borussia Dortmund and the Liverpool target now actively seeks a loan exit from the Bundesliga side in his quest to play more games.

While a loan move may surely come his way given his undeniable talent, a move to the Reds seems rather unlikely at the moment. At present, it is only our attacking department that sees itself sorted in more ways than not. The likes of Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota are options that any manager would love to have.

Getting players in addition to what we already have in our frontline would mean a waste of resources. The club, at this point in time, could actually do with the services of a midfielder or a defender instead. News via ECHO.

Currently battling a hamstring strain, Moukoko has four appearances across all competitions for the Black and Yellow this season. At his age, as important as game time could be, learning from the players around you stands as important as that too.

Moukoko for the Black and Yellow

He’s merely 18 and he has the likes of proven strikers like Haller around him and more in the national team setup. Instead of taking this situation in a pessimistic way, Moukoko should rather take it in his stride and fight for a spot in the playing XI. This is the perfect time for him to learn from those around him and amalgamate the best parts of their games into his own.

While a move to Liverpool may be long gone now, the talent that Moukoko has is surely undeniable and he could achieve great things for both club and country in the near future and beyond.

The season is still long to go, and who knows, when a sudden string of games could fall in Moukoko’s path. He must ensure that there is always something different that he offers to the other strikers in the team, and he would, in no time become a regular starter for Dortmund.

Surely, Moukoko has it in him to become a regular starter at any club including Liverpool. From this point onwards though, it is just about how much he wants to become the best and prove it to everyone around him.
