However, several other Premier League and Serie A clubs, including Tottenham and AC Milan, are also interested in the defender. This means that Liverpool will have to fend off competition from these clubs to secure Kelly’s signature.

In any case, the Reds under Jurgen Klopp this season, have undergone a successful revamp in the midfield, and by the looks of it, the backline seems to be the next step logically. Someone like Kelly, who is equally a good centre-back as he can play as a left-back would be a great addition to the Reds’ squad.
