Fulham wants Liverpool forward Fabio Carvalho as he seeks more playing time after the frustrating loan spell at RB Leipzig
Fulham want a loan deal for Liverpool forward Fabio Carvalho, who recently returned from his loan spell at RB Leipzig. Carvalho spent half a season at Leipzig but frustratingly failed to break into the first-team at the German club.
Liverpool sent the young Portuguese on loan in hopes of him securing some valuable experience playing at a top league. Liverpool plans to send him back on loan in January as the team currently has a stacked attacking department.
Carvalho is part of the future plans at Liverpool with expectations of playing a bigger role next season. He struggled to get sufficient game time during the second half of the last season with the Reds.
The 21-year-old only made three starts from 15 appearances in all competitions during his time at Leipzig. The German club has too many on-form players currently as they compete for a top-four finish in the Bundesliga.
German publication SportBILD reported that Fulham want Carvalho on a loan deal till the end of the season. The Portugal Under21 played for the London club before signing for Liverpool during the summer of 2022.
Carvalho played a pivotal role in Fulham’s return to the Premier League in the 2021-22 season, winning the Championship. The 21-year-old made 44 appearances for Fulham, contributing with 12 goals and eight assists before joining Liverpool.
Liverpool see Fabio Carvalho as part of their future plans, potentially from next season.

PL clubs approached #LFC to sign him but he’s not for sale.
Fábio will leave on loan deal as reported yesterday, no buy option clause.

Carvalho could provide a welcome attacking boost to Fulham, who currently sit 13th in the Premier League table. He is versatile enough to play at any position behind the main forward while Fulham needs creativity and goals.
