The Reds support the ‘No More Red’ campaign by shedding their usual reds for their upcoming clash against Arsenal
Liverpool’s highly anticipated clash against Arsenal for the third round of the FA Cup is set to take place at the Emirates Stadium in London. The players at the Anfield side would shed their usual reds and alternate to purple in order to respect the campaign that The Gunners have taken up. Arsenal launched the ‘No More Red’ campaign in January of 2022 to take a stand against knife crime and youth crime.
Adidas, Arsenal’s biggest sponsor, have joined the former to re-launch the campaign for 2024. The match tomorrow will mark the third game where Mikel Arteta’s men will leave their red stripes behind to flaunt the No More Red Kit. Their first game donning white back in 2022 ended in a defeat. The clash against Liverpool tomorrow should hopefully make for a more eventful watch than their drab 1-1 draw with the latter last month. This would also be their first time to don white in a match played at their home ground.

The kit, however, is not for sale and shall remain exclusive for the players. However, community T-shirts would be sold by Arsenal, 100% of the proceeds of which would be sent to charity.
The community jerseys were designed by Nellie Rose, a participant in the No More Red campaigns held in 2023. The Gunners’ women’s team shall also sport the all-white kit for the first time during their match with Watford later this month in the FA Cup to pay tribute to the message given out by the campaign.
