Jamal Musiala’s drastic rise to fame sees Liverpool enter the race to secure him
FC Bayern Munich’s young forward, Jamal Musiala is garnering attention from several European top flights as a result of his excellent performances for the German club. According to Fichajes.net, Premier League giants like the table-topping Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are vying to secure the player.
It remains to be seen which club wins the race to attain the young forward when his contract with Die Roten ends in 2026. There has been no official word regarding an extension in the contract the player has with Thomas Tuchel’s team. It is likely for the German club to put a heavy price on their star player in case of a sale.
The 20-year-old is already estimated at a £87 million, an estimate that is likely to increase as his performances improve with his increasing experience. It is understandable that the footballer would want his pay to equal his talent as he progresses further.
Despite his proven potential, the youngster has been subjected to a decline in the playing time. This, augmented by the higher fee he could receive should he choose to leave Bayern behind and join the English contemporaries, could serve as a tempting offer for the German winger. That being said, it is unlikely to get a clear picture of any deal till the summer.
Liverpool could use a flexible player like Musiala
His adaptability has enabled him to be a goalscoring forward and be an able defender on either side of the pitch. Despite being only 20, Musiala has managed to achieve an impressive 38 goals and 26 assists within the 144 official appearances he’s made so far.

It is habitual for Liverpool to foster young talents who have proven their potential on the field and develop them into star players through their system. With the potentially plausible transfer of Jurgen Klopp’s top-scorer Mo Salah to the Saudi Pro League, the uncertainty regarding attaining another forward of Salah’s cadre, and the best defenders of the Merseyside in their 30s, it would bode well for the Anfield side to have a forward who can prove to be generational for the club.
