Liverpool will face Atalanta BC in the Europa League Quarter-final with a potential clash with Benfica or Marseille in the semi-finals
The UEFA Europa League quart-finals draw Liverpool against Atalanta BC with Benfica or Marseille potentially awaiting in the semi-finals. The Reds beat Sparta Praha 11-2 in aggregate during the Europa League round 16 clash to continue their progress.
Meanwhile, Serie A side Atalanta overcame current Liga Portugal leaders Sporting CP by beating them 3-2 in round 16 aggregate. The Italian club are currently sixth in the Serie A, pursuing the top-four finish but suffering from poor domestic form.
They are currently one point behind AS Roma (fifth position) and four points behind Bologna as only 10 games remain. Atalanta plays an attractive and attacking style of play, deemed one of the most entertaining teams in Europe.
La Dea head coach Gian Piero Gasperini implements the 3-4-3 formation and possesses quality players in his senior squad. They have Giorgio Scalvini, Teun Koopmeiners, Ademola Lookman and Charles De Ketelaere in their ranks alongside several experienced players.
However, the Italian club have shown vulnerability in their defence which the Reds would look to exploit during their clash. Liverpool dominated Sparta in the previous round to remind the world of their desire to challenge for every trophy.
The Reds are currently second in the Premier League table with only a goal difference separating them from Arsenal. Furthermore, they will face Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals and they have already secured the Carabao Cup.

UEFA Europa League used their official X account to announce the quarter-finals draw while confirming the route to finals. Liverpool could potentially play Benfica and Marseille in the semi-finals if they beat Atalanta and progress ahead.
