Liverpool among a host of big names ready to make an offer €30m for Juventus star

Liverpool and Newcastle United among clubs keen to offer €30 million for Juventus star defender Dean Huijsen

Several clubs are keen on securing Juventus star Dean Huijsen and Liverpool and Newcastle United will face competition from European clubs RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, as per ilBiancoNero.

The 18-year-old is currently on loan at Roma and he will return to his parent club in the summer. Meanwhile, Roma wants to keep him on loan for another season due to his decent performances.

It will be interesting to see if Juventus agrees to the plan. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Newcastle are preparing to tempt the Italian club with a €30 million offer for the young defender.

Huijsen seems to be in form this season

Joining Liverpool or Newcastle could indeed provide the 18-year-old defender with the opportunities he needs to develop and showcase his talent at the highest level. Both clubs have a history of nurturing young talents and providing them with valuable playing time to aid their progression.

Liverpool, with their strong emphasis on youth development under Jurgen Klopp, could offer a competitive environment and top-level coaching to help the defender fulfill his potential. Additionally, being part of a club with ambitions for domestic and European success would expose him to high-pressure situations that could accelerate his growth as a player.

On the other hand, Newcastle, under new ownership and with aspirations to build a competitive squad, could provide ample playing time and a platform for the defender to make a significant impact. The club’s potential investment in talent and infrastructure could create an exciting environment for a young player looking to establish himself in the Premier League.

Young, talented player

Liverpool need to replace Joel Matip this summer, and the 18-year-old would be a good long-term investment. Similarly, Newcastle require a long-term partner for Sven Botman.

Huijsen has shown the potential that could translate well to English football, known for its physicality and fast-paced nature. With the right guidance and coaching, he could indeed develop into a significant player for whichever club he joins.

More Liverpool news

The defender has not been a regular starter for Roma on loan this season, so staying at the Italian club for another loan spell may not be ideal for him. In the early stages of a career, a player needs to have sufficient playtime to improve themselves; Liverpool could provide him with that.
