Jurgen Klopp full of praise for Manchester United star, who helped his team pull off the comeback.

Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool fought a hard battle against Manchester United tonight. The team had a ton of chances to put the game away in the first half, but were wasteful and went into the break with a 1-0 lead over Erik ten Hag’s side.

However, the turn of the second half completely changed the game. A bad pass by Jarrell Quansah was intercepted by United skipper, Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese skipper struck true to beat Kelleher and put his team level. Let’s have a look at what Klopp had to say about Fernandes’ shot. (h/t Telegraph)

“Really well executed from Bruno when we made the mistake. We needed a few minutes to settle after that”

Klopp added that the second goal scored by Kobbie Mainoo was also a screamer. With two back-to-back goals the Red Devils had all the momentum they needed and did well to close out the game. If it wasn’t for a late penalty given away by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Manchester United might’ve won the game.

The German coach will definitely not be happy that Liverpool let the game away from them tonight. The team is now second on the Premier League table, behind Arsenal only because of GD. The Premier League title is once again up for grabs.

With just eight more games to go Liverpool cannot make the mistakes they made tonight. Jurgen Klopp and his team will have to be nearly perfect if they want to win the League in the German’s last season.
