Liverpool handed £17m discount in their pursuit of Bundesliga star

Liverpool learn new Willian Pacho price tag as transfer discount emerges

Looks like Liverpool are eyeing up a new addition to their defensive lineup – Willian Pacho from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Reds have had their eye on him for a while now, with reports swirling earlier this year about their interest in bringing him on board.

And with Jurgen Klopp waving goodbye to Anfield this summer, there’s a whole new era on the horizon. Feyenoord gaffer Arne Slot stands poised to step into Klopp’s shoes, and you can bet he’s eyeing up potential signings to bolster the squad.

According to Sky Germany via ECHO, Liverpool are still sniffing around Pacho, but they haven’t quite taken the plunge into official negotiations just yet.

Liverpool learn new Willian Pacho price tag as transfer discount emerges.

Bargain!

Frankfurt have slapped a price tag on Pacho’s head, ranging from £43m to £52m. Now, that’s no small change, but here’s the silver lining – it’s a discount of £17m from the original asking price. Talk about a bargain!

Pacho’s no stranger to the defensive hustle and bustle. He’s been holding down the fort at Frankfurt, earning his stripes as one of their key players in defence. The lad made the leap from Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp. And boy, has he made an impact. With 42 appearances under his belt this season, including a few outings in the Europa Conference League, he’s been turning heads left, right, and centre.

So what does this all mean for Liverpool? Well, it’s a chance to shore up their backline, to add a fresh face to the mix and inject some new blood into the squad. With Pacho in the fold, they’ll be bolstering their defensive ranks and giving the opposition something to think about with something new. Our defence has been stale for a while, and that’s a fact.

Liverpool could land Willian Pacho on a bargain deal.

Only time will tell whether or not he makes a move. But one thing’s for sure – if he does make the move, he’ll have a whole army of Reds fans cheering him on every step of the way.
