Squawka revealed that Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has gone toe-to-toe with Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz in two crucial aspects. Wirtz has played a pivotal role in Leverkusen’s undefeated run in all competitions with his incredible productivity and playmaking skills.
Meanwhile, Elliott has enjoyed a lot of game time at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, rotating with his quality teammates this season. The 21-year-old has already acquired immense experience with the first team, breaking into the senior team at Anfield as a teenager.

In the “Most successful passes into opposition box” category, Wirtz led with 2.91 followed by Elliott at 2.44. While in the most possession won in the final-third category, Elliott led by 1.45 followed by Wirtz at 1.34.
