"The best decision"- Klopp reveals lone key moment in life that outstrips his arrival at Liverpool
The beloved Liverpool ex-boss, Jurgen Klopp, reveals that joining the Reds nine years ago was the second-best moment of his life while revealing the top decision of his life during his farewell bid to the Liverpool fans.
The German bid the Reds’ supporters one last farewell on Tuesday night at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool at “An Evening With Jurgen Klopp.” John Bishop, a comedian and famous Reds supporter, served as the host.
Arne Slot is officially commencing his Liverpool duties on June 1, succeeding the German former boss as the Reds’ new head coach. Klopp wanted a final farewell bid to the fans before Slot’s official arrival.
While the event was full of emotional moments, the German boss pulled out some humorous and classy lines during the event. One of his comments that caught his fans’ attention was:
“Aside from marrying Ulla, joining Liverpool was the best decision of my life.”
Convincing Klopp to choose Liverpool over Manchester United was a major factor in Ulla’s influence, as legendary centre-back Phil Thompson has already disclosed, in her husband’s decision to become the manager of the team.
At the conclusion of tonight’s event at the M&S Bank Arena, the LFC supporters expressed their gratitude to Ulla. Ulla was serenaded with a brand-new song by fans who saw her observing from a booth above.
