Liverpool youngster has glowing words for new manager Arne Slot

Liverpool star Conor Bradley shared his excitement over the new boss Arne Slot as he scored twice for Northern Ireland

Conor Bradley revealed his excitement to work under Arne Slot at Liverpool as he scored two goals for Northern Ireland. Bradley has enjoyed a steep rise in his reputation since breaking into the senior team under Jurgen Klopp last season.

The 20-year-old has developed immensely at Liverpool despite struggling with recurring injuries that made him miss several games last season. Bradley established himself as a regular for Northern Ireland even before making his full Premier League debut for Liverpool.

The Northern Irishman started the game as a right midfielder in a 3-4-2-1 formation against Andorra yesterday in the friendlies. He scored two quick goals in the 16th and the 22nd minute of the game to secure a 2-0 victory.

Liverpool star Conor Bradley revealed his excitement to play under new head coach Arne Slot.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph (via Liverpoolfc.com) before the friendly against Andorra, Bradley shared his excitement to work under Slot.

“I’m looking forward to it. Obviously, there are going to be massive changes within the club. There will be new ideas and fresh faces, and hopefully, it will go well and we can get off to a good start.”

Bradley has established himself as a serious contender for the right-back role next season under Slot. The move could allow Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold to completely transition into a midfielder and influence the game with playmaking.

The 20-year-old can play at any position in the right-wing while he is also comfortable with dropping invert. The Northern Irishman made 23 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool last season, contributing a goal and providing six assists.

Slot enjoys a right back who can play in a variety of roles while contributing in both defensive and offensive phases. Bradley fits the profile that he desires and with consistency, the youngster has a very high ceiling.

The 20-year-old is still far away from reaching the peak years of his career which excites the Liverpool fans. Bradley needs to be wary of the injuries as it is the only thing that has hampered his development.
