Liverpool show interest in the signing of 'unplayable' Championship youngster
Liverpool are interested in signing Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United this summer with the forward expected to be available for a cut-price discount, according to Give Me Sport.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a fantastic campaign in the EFL Championship as he scored 19 goals and provided nine assists for the Peacocks, who fell agonisingly short of promotion to the Premier League.

Summerville, who has been described as ‘unplayable’ by Michael Dawson of Sky Sports might be available in the range of £30 to £35 million this summer though there will be a competition for his signing.
A number of clubs are keeping tabs on the Dutch youngster in case they fail to bring in their primary targets, with Crystal Palace being one of them as they may need to replace Michael Olise if he departs.
The 22-year-old would be a fantastic long-term option for Liverpool having produced a brilliant return in front of goal in the Championship as arguably Leeds’ best player last season.
Although other Premier League sides are interested in his acquisition, Liverpool will fancy their chances in seeing off competition for Summerville as they are building a promising sporting project for the longer run.
Summerville has not been called up by Ronald Koeman to play for Netherlands in Euro 2024, so his transfer could culminate in the immediate future and the player may also be available for Liverpool’s pre-season.
The Reds’ interest in him is still on the periphery and any progressive conversations with Leeds or Summerville’s representatives are yet to get underway.
