Liverpool’s Premier League fixtures for 2024/25 season confirmed
The 2024/25 Premier League fixtures list have been revealed, with Liverpool beginning the brand-new campaign in an early away kick-off on the opening weekend at newly-promoted Ipswich Town.
The Reds are heading into the new season without Jurgen Klopp at the helm for the first time in almost nine years. The German tactician bid farewell at the end of last season and has been replaced by Arne Slot.
Arne Slot’s first test as Liverpool boss will come at Portman Road against Ipswich Town on Saturday, August 17. It will be the Reds’ first fixture against Ipswich Town since 2002.
As per the club’s official website, the Dutchman will take his troops to Old Trafford to face Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United in just our third game of the season. Liverpool will host the Red Devils back at Anfield in January.
Slot will look to make a huge impression in his first home game which is against Thomas Frank’s Brentford, a week after the trip to Ipswich Town.
The first Merseyside derby of the 2024/25 season comes in December, with the Kopites making their last-ever trip to Goodison Park before Everton move to their new stadium on Bramley Moore Dock. We will host our cross-town rivals to Anfield in April, as stated on the club’s official website.
Games against champions Manchester City arrive in late November (home) and late February (away). Slot faces a daunting run-in on his maiden campaign in the Premier League, with Liverpool slated to face Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal in successive fixtures in the final five of the season.
We end the 2024/25 campaign with a home game against Crystal Palace on Sunday, May 25.

Slot will hope to emulate the impact that his predecessor Klopp made at Anfield and start the new campaign strongly at Ipswich Town. With Champions League fixtures and cup competitions to factor in as well, Slot and Co. have to be mentally and physically prepared for the intensity of our fixture schedule.
The challenges will come thick and fast for Liverpool, so let’s hope our Dutch tactician is ready to ace them all.
