The Theatre of Dreams was taken by surprise as we call it “Slot-Ball” on matchday 3. Liverpool continued their 100% record in a dominating victory over Manchester United. An errant ball by Casemiro and a quick counterattack by Liverpool led to the breakthrough; Slot had planned this entire play. Salah was discovered by the brilliant Gravenberch, and when he crossed, Liverpool had two guys over at the far post. While the Reds looked in total control of the game, plenty of impressed heads looked at the kind of football how Arne Slot was trying to play.
Roy Keane and Daniel Sturridge pretty impressed by Arne Slot
In the game’s aftermath, Arne Slot has received very high praise from the pundits. One such duo who said some encouraging words were Roy Keane and Liverpool legend Daniel Sturridge. In the post-match interview describing Liverpool’s sheer dominance Roy Keane jokingly said
“ He must think the Premier League is easy, he sure had made it look easy in the starting weeks “
Whereas the former Liverpool player took time to praise Slot describing his calm nature he said
“ He’s a pretty chill guy “
Sturridge also said that he likes the way he’s approached these few weeks, he said
“ He respects and likes how he’s approached the thing” and he also said “ He seems pretty composed speaking to the likes of us “
Adding to this, he also reflected on the kind of football the Reds are playing stating
“It’s impressive the performance and tactics he’s embedded within the players as they look like they’ve picked up his tactics fast “

Many people were talking about missing Jurgen Klopp, but as things stand Anfield wouldn’t be feeling his absence. Just yet. Everyone likes what they’ve seen up until now and would only hope it goes beyond this. They will test Nottingham Forest at Anfield when they return from the international break followed by a third-round EFL game against West Ham. And to top all of this, Arne Slot’s squad also will be visiting San Siro to kick off their Champions League season under a new manager against A.C Milan on September, 18.
