Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool is a saga that has been going on for a minute. He also made some bold statements about this being his last season at the club after the win at Old Trafford. Salah started the 2024/25 season on a high with six-goal contributions in three Premier League games. He is in his last year of the contract, which made him around €350,000 pw. But with no extension talks yet, it is obvious that new speculations of his replacements are coming forward.

Among the many winger recruitment talks, the latest is of Leroy Sane making his way to Liverpool next year, according to Todofichajes. The German who currently plays for Bayern Munich on a salary of €384,614 pw is in his last year of the contract. There is little indication to show that he will renew as things stand.

Sane wouldn’t be a stranger to the premier league as he spent four years at Manchester City. He is considered an explosive winger who can turn defenders and has been on the big stages. He was also voted as the PFA Young Player of the Year in 2017-18. The 28-year-old has 65 international appearances and has scored some important winners over time.

The Egyptian who arrived at Anfield in 2017 has had a great impact over the years. He’s led the front lines from the Champions League winning season to the first premier league era title at Anfield. In the middle of the fans wanting him to stay and Saudi clubs approaching with deals, nothing is certain for now. Although, Arne Slot and the management wouldn’t be holding back on scouting replacements is a no-brainer.
