In the newest transfer talks, Liverpool are potentially eyeing a move to sign Eberechi Eze according to the Echo. In case the negotiations with Salah don’t work out, the Englishman would be a perfect fit. His contract which offers him £100,00 per week expires in June 2027. The England international has been linked to several teams in recent months, and due to a release clause in his contract, he may be available in 2025 for almost £68 million.

Eze appeared in 27 games having 15 goal contributions in the premier league last year. Along with Michael Olise, the duo turned some heads the way they played their football. Moreover. He can run with the ball swiftly as well as is a specialist on set-pieces. Adding Eze to your squad would be an exciting replacement.

Salah’s current contract which offers him £350,000 per week is in his final few months. Considering the age Liverpool is very less likely to offer him a same-contract extension. With many Saudi Clubs approaching it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Egyptian bids farewell to Anfield. However, many pundits have backed Salah for extension as the fans would love to see more from the right-winger in coming years.
