In a 3-1 result, the Reds’ inspired a dominating comeback as the Italian side opened the scoring in the first five minutes. While there were a lot of impressive talking points, the Liverpool star boy Ryan Gravenberch has emerged as the Man of the Match.
Ryan Gravenberch continues his sparking form on the European level
Liverpool’s midfield was in top shape throughout the 90 minutes at San Siro. Even though they conceded early, the Merseyside boys kept their composure. And it is safe to say that their most in-form player Ryan Gravenberch led a great inspiration. The Dutchman came out on top as he was named the Man of the Match at San Siro.
The midfielder was on top leading the likes from the front defensively. Gravenberch intercepted the ball six times while having nine recoveries. His passing accuracy stream continued as he had 89% of his passes completed. Gravenberch also made four important passes in the final third. It was a complete performance offensively and defensively by the Dutchman.

This is the second Man of the Match Gravenberch received for Liverpool this month. After he put up a masterclass at Old Trafford, he has continued to live up to the standards on a European level. Gravenberch, who is on a five-year contract which offers him £150,000 per week, has recently started to find his feet.
Arne Slot is blending the midfield up nicely. From moving Dominic Szoboslai upwards to Alexis Mac Allister and Gravenberch supporting him from the back, the midfield does look lively. While it is seamless in transition as of now, helping with ball recoveries and trapping opponents are also traits. Keeping consistency while proper game time management is going to be the key.
