Liverpool bid adieu to their long-time boss Jurgen Klopp and the conclusion of the previous season, and while the club has moved on to Arne Slot, the former manager is yet to do so.

Klopp left the Merseyside Reds following an incredibly successful spell of nine campaigns in charge at Anfield Stadium, which saw Liverpool kiss their first Premier League title in 30 years. The club went on to win FA Cup, League Cup, and Champions League accolades under Klopp.

And with Arne Slot taking charge of a new era at the AXA training centre, Klopp is looking at taking the next steps as well. The former Dortmund coach has recently received an offer to replace Julian Nagelsmann if the former Bayern Munich boss leaves the national side following the upcoming World Cup, per The Mirror.

Klopp was subject to massive links with the Three Lions managerial seat, which has been recently vacated by the departure of Gareth Southgate. But now he could be tempted by the lure to take over the responsibilities for his nation.

The director of the German national team, Rudi Voller, has recently spoken about the possibilities of having Jugen Klopp in charge of the proceedings for his country. He suggested that there is “no way” that the German association can overlook the former Liverpool boss should Julian Nagelsmann depart following the 2026 World Cup that is scheduled to be held in the United States of America.

Speaking in an exclusive interview to Aktuelle Sportstudio, Rudi Voller said:

“If Julian Nagelsmann were to decide at some point that he would rather coach a top club again, then of course there is no way around Jurgen Klopp. If he wants to.”

The 57-year-old has been taking some time off football at the moment, and it is not known whether the German wants to take another managerial job or not.
