Liverpool secured a comfortable 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace, with Diogo Jota netting the decisive goal to strengthen their position at the top of the Premier League table.

However, the win came with a worrying setback as Alisson was forced off in the 79th minute, limping to the bench with what is suspected to be a hamstring injury. While the Reds continue to thrive, the potential loss of their key goalkeeper could pose a significant challenge in the coming fixtures.

How the loss of the Brazilian will impact the team

He was replaced by Vitezslav Jaros for the final minutes and Liverpool held on for the win. Speaking after the game, Slot admitted that Alisson was likely to miss upcoming games.

“The latest is we don’t know, but what we know is when a player walks off like he does that normally means he won’t be in the Brazil squad and I don’t expect him in to be the team in the game we play afterwards,”

We have to wait and see. It will take a few weeks I assume… I think it is his hamstring.”
