Over the past year, links between Liverpool and Aurélien Tchouaméni have steadily grown, fueled by speculation surrounding the Frenchman’s performances falling short of expectations. With Liverpool sitting at the top of the table and boasting a strong record, they are now actively seeking a new midfield controller, as Wataru Endo is set to depart in the upcoming winter transfer window. The Reds are looking for someone who can complement Ryan Gravenberch’s impressive form.

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has no interest in leaving the Spanish capital to move to Liverpool, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefings.

The French La Liga star has missed just one game for Madrid so far this season after picking up an injury that saw him ruled out of their 2-0 win over Real Sociedad. He’s been an integral part of their squad since his arrival in the summer of 2022, helping Madrid lift the coveted league title and Champions League trophy in 2023/24.

Tchouameni and his stance on leaving

Liverpool are often been linked with a move for Tchouaméni as they previously missed out on securing his signature.. The French midfielder has been on Liverpool’s radar since his standout performances at Monaco, but he chose to join Real Madrid over Anfield in 2022.

Tchouaméni has no pressure to leave the club as he is loved immensely by the fans. Recently appointed France captain in their 4-1 victory against Israel, he has little reason to depart from the greatest club in the world. With a steady stream of trophies and earning an impressive £208,000 per week, he remains in a strong position at Madrid.

It appears Tchouaméni has no desire to leave the Spanish champions and is keen to commit his future under Carlo Ancelotti’s leadership. According to Matteo Moretto, the Frenchman has no interest in joining Arne Slot’s Liverpool side, preferring to continue his successful, trophy-filled spell in Spain.
