Liverpool have been exploring possibilities to bring in a new wide forward in 2025 as they prepare to replace Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian forward linked with a move away from Anfield Stadium when the season comes to a close.

Mo Salah has been a constant presence in the Merseysiders offence after having inspired the Reds in many games and situations. However, with his contract running to close at the end of the current campaign, there is a real possibility that he would end up leaving L4.

For Liverpool, they have started preparing for the possibility of Salah exiting as well, with the Reds linked with multiple wingers for the 2025 transfer windows, and Bologna wide forward Dan Ndoye has been the latest name on the potential Salah replacement list, per Fichajes.

Can Ndoye fill Salah’s shoes?

The 23-year-old is rather a low-profile alternative to others, viz., Real Madrid’s Rodryo or Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi, as the Reds look to ensure that the Salah throne is warmed for a long time to come if he does decide to bid adieu to Anfield Stadium.

The right-footed Swiss international can feature along the forward line, however, prefers to play on the right flank, where he likes to dribble on the outside and explore spaces between the defenders. He is someone who has a rapid pace but still has massive room for improvement in 1v1 situations. However, his raw talent has been identified by multiple clubs besides Liverpool, with the likes of Inter Milan and Manchester United also linked with the wide forward.
