Mohamed Salah’s performance this season has made it evident that Liverpool will have a very hard time finding his replacement when the right-winger’s contract expires next summer.

There are signs from the club that Salah’s contract with his current employers will not be improved next season, the English giants have already started to find a baller who could match their standards.

With Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes as the new in charge, Liverpool’s recruitment team is working hard to analyze future talent, particularly in areas of the club that may require replacements within the next year.

While clouds still loom on the North African’s replacement at Anfield, the club has scouted and is exploring options for one young baller who is currently playing in the English top-tier league.

Liverpool to target Bryan Mbeumo

As per a report by the English sports media outlet Sky Sports Liverpool are scouting various players for Salah’s replacement and amongst them, Bryan Mebumo’s name stands high. The right winger is currently running riot for his current club Brentford this season. Scoring eight goals in eleven games so far, he is one of the ballers who is getting heavy attention from the Reds management.

As a Cameroon international, Mbeumo may prove to be the player Arne Slot and his team are seeking. Although it might be premature to assert this, his impressive performances have positioned him as a standout player in the current season of English top-tier football.

While Salah keeps on making waves for the Merseyside club, the club is keen to find a thumping player who could take complete command of their attacking lines if the 32-year-old leaves. This win has brought them back atop the points table with 25 points in ten games.

Following their emphatic victory over Brighton in a high-stakes match, the Reds, led by Virgil Van Dijk, are gearing up for their Champions League match against the German team Bayer Leverkusen. They are keen to secure a win that would smooth their journey to the next round of Europe’s most prestigious competition.
