“Never underestimate us”- Arne Slot refuses to take Liverpool position for granted

Slot has emphasized that Liverpool must be at their best to secure a victory over Leicester and has assured that the team will remain focused, with no room for complacency as they aim for the club’s 20th league title.

He highlighted the positive aspect that teams at the lower end of the table, like Leicester, often struggle, but under Ruud’s management, they’ve managed to secure a few wins, which demonstrates his effectiveness since taking over. Despite recent tough results, Leicester understands the significance of playing at Anfield and will approach the game with determination, knowing they must be at their best.

Slot believes that the slip in concentration during the 15 minutes against Tottenham, when Liverpool conceded two second-half goals, serves as a valuable reminder that underestimating opponents is never an option in the Premier League

Arne Slot speaking in the pre-match conference, explained

“I think the positive is that teams that are positioned in the lower side of the league table, they mostly lose games but since Ruud is there, they also won a few so that shows you that he’s done really well, especially when he came in,” Slot said told a pre-match news conference.

“Now he had two tough results in a row. These teams, all of them, it’s special to go to Anfield and they know if they go to Anfield, they have to be at their best so they will never underestimate us.
