Liverpool pondering signing Milos Kerkez purchase next summer
Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson suffered a shoulder injury last year and has faced recurring struggles as a result. The 30-year-old’s fitness level this season has not been up to the mark and in hindsight, his deteriorating qualities have been masked by the team’s fantastic performances across all competitions.
Kostas Tsimikas has featured alternatively to Robertson and the Greek international has done a decent job. However, it is debatable whether he has the qualities to be a first-choice option for a club like Liverpool while in the recent past, there has also been some speculation about his future amid talk that he would be open to departing for regular minutes elsewhere.
As a result, Liverpool Echo has claimed that the Reds are considering a transfer in the summer for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez. The Hungarian has enjoyed a fantastic campaign with the Cherries this year and having been one of their standout players, he has attracted interest from the likes of the Reds as well as their arch-rivals Manchester United.

Liverpool were among the first clubs to take note of Kerkez’s quality and held talks over a swoop for him in November last year, as per the report. The prospect of a January transfer always seemed bleak given his importance to Bournemouth, though it remains to be seen if Andoni Iraola’s side can hold onto the player for longer than the ongoing campaign.
