German newspaper Bild, which hyped Klopp weeks before he replaced the existing coach Brendan Rogers, is now pushing the idea of Dortmund player Neven Subotic, moving to Anfield. With the January transfer window getting closer this might just be Klopp getting into the market, to improve his squad.
Neven subotic plays as a centerback for Borussia Dortmund and has been coached by Klopp before Thomas Tuchel replaced him in Dortmund. Rumor has it, that Tuchel may not try to keep Subotic stay put in the club, hence he may be well off in the Anfield. The Serbian is not happy with his situation in Dortmund.
As many speculate if his reasons to transfer into the Reds may be because he does not stand a chance with Tuchel. While on the other hand, Klopp has coached the Serbian in Mainz and Dortmund and is said to be a big fan of the player, thus, the existing relations between the coach and the player may influence the transfer decision.
